33 Weeks

We had our 33 week appointment yesterday, and all is well with baby.  She spent most of this past week kicking me in the ribs, which was definitely not comfortable, but at least we know she’s in the right position.

Week 32 was definitely the least comfortable of my pregnancy thus far.  I spent most of the week with a never ending back-ache, for which the doctor recommended a heating pad.  I bought one on the way home from the appointment, and I’m pretty sure I’m going to get my money’s worth out of it because the relief is amazing.  Seriously.  But the reason for my  extra aches and pains for the past two weeks became clear at the doctor when she measured my tummy.  At my last appointment I measured rather small for baby’s gestational age, now I’m measuring rather big for her age.  Hopefully, she grows more slowly over the next seven weeks or so…

I also got a flu shot yesterday, which I had never done before.  Today I woke up feeling slightly flu-like, which I guess is better than feeling totally flu-like.  But it’s so beautiful out, that I just want to feel as great as the day looks.  Oh well…..

Though I have lots of complaints in this entry, I’m hanging in there.  I’m getting more and more excited to meet the little miss I spend my day feeling.  We’re getting more and more ready for her arrival.  It’s going to be great.  🙂
